I just finished adding screencaps from X2 as well as screencaps from bonus stuff on the DVD including Deleted Scene 1 & 2, the Making Of and the Webcast Highlights.
Anna unfortunately did not win tonight. I only have a handful of pictures from the event right now up here in the gallery but as always I will be adding more later on.
Anna attended and presented at the DGA Awards last night. I do have photos from the event but will have to upload them when I’m home from work because I’m running out the door right now.
Just a reminder that the SAG Awards are tonight on TBS/TNT.
ETA: It took awhile to get everything uploaded but I added a total of 124 photos from the show, press room and arrivals. I’m sure I will be adding to that number though
The Blue State website has been updated with wallpapers and clips from the film including the trailer which is also up on YouTube here.
From Stuff.Co.Nz:
Some of the biggest names in film and television have refused to cross promised picketlines in support of striking writers.
The Writers Guild of America strike, which began November 5, has effectively shut down Hollywood.
Faced with the boycott, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced this week that the awards ceremony planned for January 13 would be replaced by an hour-long news conference announcing the winners of the 65th annual Golden Globes awards.
Paquin, 24, is nominated in the best supporting actress category for her role in the television movie Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee.
A publicist for Paquin said the young New Zealand actress was standing firm with colleagues, refusing to cross a Writers Guild of America picketline.
“Anna will not be crossing a picketline,” the publicist said.
Asked if this meant she would decline an award, the publicist repeated: “It means that she will not cross a picketline.”
Thank you Degigia for commenting about this because it reminded me that I wanted to post about it. The Golden Globes are supposed to be presented next Sunday, January 13th. It’s pretty clear that Anna will not be attending as SAG actors WILL NOT be crossing the WGA picket lines to accept or present awards.
On the other hand, the SAG Awards will still be taking place on January 27th on TBS/TNT at 8pm since the WGA granted waivers for writers to contribute to the awards show. So hopefully she will attend that event!
